Random Thought Of The Day

Thursday was apparently the 45th anniversary of A Charlie Brown Christmas( December 9th, 1965), which means I have to watch it again, because I haven't seen it in a few years.

Funny story: network executives thought people were going to hate it for a number of reasons(real kids doing the voices, no laugh track, jazz soundtrack, etc.) and it went on to win an Emmy and a Peabody award.

Random Thought Of The Day

It's funny- every year for the past three or four years, there has been a clear Oscar favorite. However, this year, the only movies I can think of that I enjoyed that much were  Inception and The Town. Maybe True Grit will give some more competition.
