Wow, it seems like forever and a half since I last posted on here. Let's see, what's been going on?
- Justified is awesome, as I'm currently working my way through the first season.
- I'm excited for opening day, and have no idea who won the Final Four.
Plus, I will be starting a new feature on the blog soon: Movies I Love! Pretty self-explanatory, as I go on a nerd rant as to why the movie I've selected is great. I was thinking about doing Movies I Hate as a counterpoint, but decided to keep it positive.
Also coming soon; the very first edition of Useless Trivia Presents.

Random Thought Of The Day
While I'm glad True Grit is nominated for a few Oscars, I get a bad feeling that it will be overshadowed by other films.
However, it's pretty much a win-win, although the people I want to win(John Hawkes, James Franco, Hailee Steinfeld, etc.) may not.

Wow.
I thought I had the Superbowl figured, and boy, was I wrong.
Anyway, congrats to Green Bay.

Ask Useless Trivia!
This question comes from Carl: Is David Bowie a stage name?
My answer: Yes. His real name is David Jones, but he changed it to avoid confusion with Davy Jones from The Monkees.

Random Thought Of The Day
I saw the Thor trailer recently, and don't know what to think. Visually, it looks amazing, but I'm not sure it will be as overall of a good movie like Iron Man, or the first two Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies.

Random Thought Of The Day
I saw Green Hornet last night, and really enjoyed it.
Who would've thought it was from the same guys(Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg) that wrote Superbad?

Random Thought Of The Day
I'm thinking about going to see The Green Hornet this week; even though reviewers have panned it, I heard it's stupid fun in the vein of Robocop.

Random Thought Of The Day
I'm still working my way through Undead Nightmare, and still really enjoying it.
The undead bobcats and bears are super-creepy, which is a nice touch.

Random Thought Of The Day
I'm currently working on the third season of Mad Men; what a great show.
I would compare it to The Sopranos in that everyone on there is pretty much a horrible person, but you can't help but like them.

Random Thought Of The Day
I just got Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, and I really like it.
It's almost like a parallel universe to the actual game, with zombies instead of federal agents and gunfighters. Highly recommended.

Random Thought Of The Day
Hope everyone had a good New Year!
On a completely different topic, True Grit was awesome, and I recommend it to anyone who likes Jeff Bridges, The Coen Brothers, or good movies in general.
